Genesis125

Some of you may have noticed the hash tag #Genesis125 last year at the bottom of my 365 Days of Sketching Animal Drawings, it comes from the verse Genesis 1:25:

"God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good."

God made everything, every thing that we see he made, including you and me, the heavens and the earth and everything in the earth including all the animals. Everything. It's my way of giving credit to God for his wonderful creativity in the creation of all the animals. We as artists should recognize and appreciate God as creator most of all! In fact we reflect this very attribute of God as artists. Artists have always drawn inspiration from our creator and His creation and it is so wonderfully complex and intricate, made with more wisdom than we can fathom.
